The goals of project: "Improving the competence of civil society in the field of the Sustainable Development Goals and strengthening the partnership of civil society institutions in Uzbekistan."

Project implementation period: 2022-2025.

Tasks:

• Strengthening the ability of the CSI to contribute to the implementation of the national SDGs in Uzbekistan;                                                                                       
• Strengthening the partnership between government and civil society to raise public awareness of the SDGs;          
• Development of a toolkit for the CSI to share information on each indicator based on the SDGs; 
• Development and monitoring of the “Voluntary National Report on the SDGs”.
• Assistance to national agencies and departments in the review, evaluation and verification of prepared VNRs on SDGs;

Results:

• Training was organized in Tashkent, gathering representatives of leading NGOs from all regions of the Republic and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
• A training was conducted to increase the capacity to understand the SDGs and the process of application to the project by representatives of NGOs of Uzbekistan and developed tools that allow monitoring and feedback to help achieve the goals of the SDGs for the period up to 2030.
• In December, seminars on "Sustainable development in Uzbekistan" were organized across the Republic!
