Project goal:
Conducting analytical study of the current state and capacity of civil society in Uzbekistan (for the development of strategic and technical programs of the Swiss Peace Nexus Foundation) to support civil society organizations and increase the ability of individual organizations to contribute to social cohesion and peacebuilding.

What is done?
On March 3-4, 2021, a training course was organized for specialists of the regional branches of the Yuksalish Nationwide Movement and the rest of the study participants;

On March 16-19, 2021, trained representatives of the Yuksalish Nationwide Movement conducted surveys in focus groups in 14 regions of Uzbekistan. 206 civil society institutions in the regions were covered;

On March 16-19, 2021, in-depth interviews were conducted based on the results of focus groups among 106 nongovernmental nonprofit organizations;

Data compiled and comprehensive overview prepared.
