Yuksalish Updates the TOP-40 Leader Women
The Yuksalish movement, jointly with the Institute of Social and Economic Initiatives, has updated the ranking of the TOP 40 leader women.
When forming the rating, experts analyzed the activities of over 300 candidates: their professional accomplishments, influence on shaping the political agenda and on the development of various sectors, including civil society. The analysis helped to compile the annual ranking of 40 women in leadership, who make a significant contribution to the development of the political and socio-economic sectors in Uzbekistan.
The rating participants are represented in various fields, including leaders in the system of the Presidential Administration - four people, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis - four, the Senate - six, the Cabinet of Ministers - three, committees, agencies and centers - 11, one representative in each of the political parties and in the Prosecutor's Office, in education - five, in the financial sector - three, and in the field of human rights – two women leaders. Compared to TOP-40 2023, six leaders have moved up to the higher ranks.
According to the data, the share of women in the political parties of the republic has reached 47 percent, in higher education - 48, in entrepreneurship - 37. The share of women holding leadership positions is 33 percent. Women head about 2,000 government and public organizations. This indicates the dynamics in the development of the state, as well as the increasing role and status of women in socio-political life.

The leaders of the rating are role models for young people who are just starting their professional career, and see their future in management.
The Yuksalish movement annually publishes the TOP 40 women leaders in management ranking on March 8 - International Women's Day. Check out the rankings of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
In 2023, with the support of regional experts, Yuksalish compiled the first rating of women leaders in Central Asia.
