Nationwide movement “Yuksalish” is seeking for an expert on Green growth under the project on “Effective Governance for Economic Development”. 

Effective Governance for Economic Development (EGED) is a programme of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) implemented from 2020-2025 in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with an objective to improve the effectiveness, accountability and transparency of economic policy delivery on selected reform priorities. The objective of Pillar 2 is to support civil society & media to promote accountability on selected policies using data and evidence. 
Involvement of the Nationwide movement “Yuksalish” in EGED is aimed on Supporting civil society organizations via creation of platform for policy dialogue between state governing bodies, civil society and business. The expert on Green growth will be involved in implementation of the following activities under the project:  
• roundtable event on Green growth with Trade unions, Business associations and Green growth activists; 
• regional trainings for business associations and trade unions to support raising awareness and commitment to green growth among private and public sector;  
• public hearings for the monitoring of activities under the Strategy on the Transition of the Republic of the Republic of Uzbekistan to a "Green" Economy for the Period 2019-2030; 
• preparation of Project bulletin on Green growth. Processing of all raw data, monitoring reports, round table resolutions and public hearing reports;  
• roundtable event with all stakeholders on Project impact and challenges including presentation of Project bulletin (research results and recommendations). 
 
The selected candidates must comply the following requirements:  
• 5 year experience in Green growth, ecological and environmental issues, including 2 year experience in research; 
• Higher education degree on Social sciences and management, or other related fields; 
• awareness on current trends on Green growth, Green economy and other ecological issues; 
• experience in management, especially in project management is plus; 
• experience in public speaking, facilitating and research activities are plus; 
• candidates with advanced multilingual experience (English, Uzbek and Russian) are priority; 
• high level of interaction, communication and negotiation skills. 
Selected candidate will be offered part-time job on the basis of a civil contract law with a salary based on the results of the interview.
